Things I'd like you to buy so I don't...

I've been sat in Starbucks looking like a pretentious dick on my laptop for a couple of hours now which means I have looked at the ASOS, Topshop and John Lewis websites a couple of hundred times. I have no money at the moment and in a few weeks it is possible I maybe poor forever so because my brain hates me it has found a trolley load of stuff that it wants. That it really really wants. Zigga zig ah.

ASOS

ASOS Long Line Coatigan, Grey, 16, £75

I have put these three items in my 'Basket' 4 times in the last month. There are parts of me that think I will never truly be human until I have them. For example, I have 5 pairs of Doc Martens. I have had pair after pair basically since birth. I went to Play Group in a pair of Kid's Pastel Blue Suede 8 eye boots for goodness' sake. I have lived in them for years and them being in fashion at the moment hasn't helped as I see them FUCKING EVERYWHERE. I have wanted a pair of their chelsea boots for the last couple of years, unable to spend over a hundred pounds on them out of sheer stubbornness. For a while I wanted them in Cherry Red but now I'm all about black. I always want a good cardy and if it gives itself a punny name I'm always going to love it but THOSE JEANS. I have one pair of American Apparel Easy Jeans, I can get them on, on a good day. With Spanx. But these are in my size and say super soft, I want super soft jeans. I want a pair of jeans that doesn't make me feel like I'm about to spill out of them. I have never once found a pair that fit me properly which means that all I want is a pair that do.

Topshop.

Roll Back Crop Tee, White, 16, £10

Pink Lurex Texture Bikini, Pink, 16, £32

Flower Calf Skirt, Cream, 16, £48

So I know what I said about Topshop, I know that I got angry but I also meant it when I said that I love the stuff they make. This skirt is dead on what I'm looking at for summer this year, with big pattern and full skirt it just everything I could have hoped for. I just have to find out what size it ACTUALLY is and if they are planning on actually selling it in a 16. As for the crop top and the bikini, I am trying to push what I wear a little more. I want to find things that people think fat girls can't wear and wear them well. I want to wear a bikini and look good in it and I want to wear a crop to and for it not to be a massive mistake. I HAVE DREAMS OK?! This bikini or this one from Freya are the two finalists I have.

John Lewis

I'm pretty sure that there is a Mulberry handbag on every page of this blog. I am obsessed with them and I do want every single one. When I went to the Mulberry store in Bicester I nearly cried (horrifically true), they are all just so beautiful. My current favourite, but it changes most days, is this. I love the studs, which is strange because I hardly ever like studs and I love the colour. I'm absolutely sure I would be better at life if I had this handbag. Such is the delusion of my disease. The perfume is something I smelt a few days ago and haven't been able to get it out of my brain, its sweet and light but is also sexy. I am, as you read, considering walking straight to John Lewis and buying it but I don't have any money do I don't know how that would work. I could exchange blood for it? I seriously would.

If there is anything else you'd like to torture me with and think I'd like it would be the best thing in the world if you let me know either in the comments or on Facebook as no one who doesn't know me in real life actually reads this.

  1. I bought a couple of crop tops from Topshop recently and I wear a 38F bra so I'm definitely not their target demographic but I LOVE THEM and fat chix look ace in them so definitely go for that crop top. Would look SO GOOD with those high-waisted jeans too. The purchases are definitely justified.
